Frequently Asked Questions

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5 o’clock in the evening. Our wedding will be held at Yonah Mountain Vineyards, which is also a beautiful winery open to the public. While we ask that all guests plan to arrive at 4:30pm to park, walk to the ceremony space, and find seating, you are welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Our ceremony will be held outside in the vineyards, with social hour to follow in the plaza. However, the reception will be held indoors in the ballroom.
Based on recent years, it is reasonable to expect temperatures to be in the high 70s to low 80s during the day, and drop to the high 50s in the evening. However, we encourage you to check the weather closer to the event for packing purposes.

Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate those formally listed on your invitation. In the case that one or both guests listed on the invitation are unable to attend, we kindly ask that no modifications are made.

We ask that all guest refrain from taking any pictures or videos during the ceremony. We encourage everyone to be in the moment. Do not fear - we will have a professional photography team capturing it all!

We recommend staying in a Vrbo, Airbnb, or hotel close to the Cleveland area. One option is Dahlonega - a charming town with a suburban feel, offering numerous choices in hotels, restaurants, shopping, and more. Dahlonega is the heart of Georgia wine country in the Blue Ridge foothills and is approximately a 40 minute drive from the wedding venue.
While Helen is a beautiful town to stay in as well and is closer to the venue (approximately 20 minute drive), we want to inform all guests that Helen is renowned for hosting the longest-running Oktoberfest in the U.S. With this in mind, if anyone chooses to stay in Helen, we strongly recommend scheduling ubers/rides in advance and leaving with ample time as it will be a Saturday in September.
If you are traveling from out of town and have questions on lodging, please reach out to Tim Grant (father of the bride) at TimGrant2@hotmail.com.
